Send a simple text
Sending a new text from email is simple, with a few details:
Send from your forwarding destination email account
Subject: leave blank
Body: prefix the message with @<phone number> or @<contactname> and then the message content (see examples)
Thats it!
Here is an example of a message to (222)-333-4444 using the '@' prefix. Note there are no spaces and brackets and dashes are removed.
The '+' symbol is OK such as
@+12223334444 hello I am going to be lateYou can also use a contact name, just remove all spaces. So a contact named John Smith on your phone, will become @johnsmith (the space between John and Smith is removed)
If you have more than one contact named John Smith, the message will not be sent. If you have multiple numbers for John Smith, the default or primary number will be used.
